Is it safe for my 3 yr old to bath in epson salt?

last night i took a nice bath in epson salt... at about 11:30.. my son was awake but his father wasnt... (my son was awake because he was at the mall walking around for a couple hours and fell asleep at at 8 and woke up at 9:30)... well anyways.. ';I dont need rude comments on that thanks!!!';

Well I had to bring him in the bathroom with me..

';usually he showers with me anyways';..

but i was scared to put him in the bath tub with me because i had the epson salts in there... i read on the back of it and it did not say anything about it being bad for children or anything..

well i just let him stand outside the bath while i relaxed and he was playing with his boat... well i got out after about 20 mns.. because he kept wanting to get in...so i took out the water washed down the bath tub and refilled it for him..

If I was to bring him in with me in the epson waters would it be bad?.. and wat would happen to him?....Is it safe for my 3 yr old to bath in epson salt?
i don't think putting him in once with you is bad at all..(i did it a few times when my kids were little) and their normal...lol

I have been reading about Epsom Salts ..and it had nothing but good things to say about it...but him being 3 yrs old ..i wouldn't let him Drink the water...because you can also take a small amount when you or childern have constapation...so if he did drink it ...you might have a big problem.

what i read:)

鈥?Epsom Salt improves the body's ability to use insulin, reducing the incidence or severity of diabetes.

鈥?Epsom Salt flushes toxins and heavy metals from the cells, easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances.

鈥?Epsom Salt improves nerve function by regulating electrolytes. Also, calcium is the main conductor for electrical current in the body, and magnesium is necessary to maintain proper calcium levels in the blood.

鈥?Epsom Salt relieves stress. Excess adrenaline and stress are believed to drain magnesium, a natural stress reliever, from the body. Magnesium is necessary for the body to bind adequate amounts of serotonin, a mood-elevating chemical within the brain that creates a feeling of well being and relaxation.

While increasing your magnesium levels, TheraSoak 鈥?Epsom salt also delivers sulfates, which are extremely difficult to get through food but which readily absorb through the skin. Medical research indicates sulfates are needed for the formation of brain tissue, joint proteins and the mucin proteins that line the walls of the digestive tract. Sulfates also stimulate the pancreas to generate digestive enzymes and help to detoxify the body's residue of medicines and environmental contaminants.
