It is hugely beneficial! It especially helps with sore muscles, so if you're athletic, I'd definitely recommend doing it.
Generally you should buy Epsom salts from really any drugstore-or even Walmart. The directions of how much to use will be on the back of the container. Though, generally, for a normal size bath, you'd use anywhere from half a carton to a whole one.
YES.. Salt is used by Nurses for cleansing wounds. Its better on your skin than most alchole types.
I use a hand full of sea salt that I can buy at the local grocery store. Much cheaper than the jazzed up ones.
There are different salts you can buy from the basics to different ones with added aromatherapy blends. Health Food stores are where you generally find these. Great Stuff!
Salt is a very good antibacterial agent so it will kill germs and help with minor wounds, spots, piles etc.
Any salt will do but if you use a very strong solution you will need to rinse with clean water afterwards,
I use 2 cups of epson salts.. it works great for sore muscles
